Design & Build

We are a design-build company exclusively. This means we install what we design, we do not offer design-only services.

We provide design solutions for our clients’ needs and desires that are appropriate as well as exciting and innovative. We have a thorough understanding of the unique conditions an urban garden presents. We are meticulous about detail from careful planning to the final installation. We encourage open communication with the client throughout the design and installation, and we welcome ideas and suggestions at every stage of the process. When installing our designs, we maintain a clean work environment, and at the end of each day, we clean up the work area in order for the client to continue using the space as much as possible. We offer a one-year guarantee on our woody plants.

Our gardens have been featured on the Georgetown Garden Tour held by the Georgetown Garden Club (Garden Clubs of America). We have won numerous awards for our tree box installations in Georgetown and we have been mentioned in Garden Design magazine. We also work closely with the Georgetown Garden Club in maintaining the award winning and historic Volta Park native plant garden. Our list of clientele includes senators, doctors, writers, philanthropists, fortune 500 business owners, lawyers, bankers, politicians, educators, millionaires, developers and famous media personalities.

Because we understand the unique lifestyles our clients lead, we are able to take care of all their landscape needs with trust and discretion, which frees them from the concerns of their gardens.
 
The owner of Cityscapes Landscaping, Inc., is an associate member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, a group of dedicated and serious designers working to protect the integrity of the landscape design profession. APLD has grown to an international assembly, representing 10 countries, and has established high standards of practice for its members in the delivery of landscape design services.

Maintenance

Cityscapes Landscaping, Inc., takes great pride in providing high-end, quality service to our clients.  We take meticulous care when maintaining our clients’ gardens, while at the same time using correct horticultural practices.  We are flexible in responding to the changing needs and conditions of our clients’ landscapes, and we are fast in responding to problems and special events that arise. We develop lasting and trusting relationships with our clients, and we cater to the special needs of all our clients.

We offer maintenance scheduling on a weekly, monthly, seasonal or as needed basis.
